２０２４年８月６日 仙台市 ４９回目の平和七夕 若い世代の参加拡がる

高校生たちのレイづくり（８月５日、仙台宮城野教会）

吹き流しの取り付け作業（６日、午前６時）。

前日の５日には、東京からやってきた明治学院東村山高校と、仙台市の尚絅学院高校の高校生たち２５人が道行く人達に配布するレイ作りに取り組んだ。１時間半ほどで、３２０本のレイをつくってくれた。

当日、早朝の吹き流しの取り付けにも高校生たちが活躍した。東北学院高校の一行も加わって、商店街に折り鶴で作り上げた吹き流しを取り付けました。ステッカーをバランスよく取り付けるのも結構大変な作業。てっぺんのボンボリは今年も、東北生活文化学園高校のみんなが制作してくれました。風に揺れる吹き流しが涼やかな音を出すよう鈴を取り付けて完成。作業は１時間半ほどで終了しました。

On the previous day, the 5th, 25 high school students from Meiji Gakuin Higashimurayama High School and Shokei Gakuin High School in Sendai City came from Tokyo to make leis to distribute to passersby. In about an hour and a half, they made 320 leis.

On the day of the event, the high school students also helped attach the Fukinagashi streamers early in the morning. A group from Tohoku Gakuin High School also joined in, attaching Fukinagashi streamers made from folded paper cranes to the shopping street. Attaching the stickers in a balanced manner was quite a difficult task. The paper lanterns on top were once again made by students from Tohoku Seikatsu Bunka Gakuen High School. They were finished by attaching bells so that the Fukinagashi streamers would make a cool sound as they swayed in the wind. The work was completed in about an hour and a half.
